Konstantin Papailiou教授是国际公认的输变电外绝缘领域权威专家。发表论文100余篇,作为主要作者或编辑完成了多部行业权威著作,如专著《复合绝缘子》、《电力系统手册》、《高压架空线路与地下电缆》,《风致导线舞动》橙皮书,CIGRE首部绿皮书《架空线路》,以及多部CIGRE技术手册,为全球工程实践提供了重要技术指南。在CIGRE连续任职超过40年,从工作组成员逐步成长为研究委员会主席,并于2024年当选CIGRE主席,2014年创办CIGRE科学与工程期刊并担任主编至2020年。长期在德国斯图加特大学和德累斯顿工业大学讲授高压架空线路课程,并参与指导瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院、洛桑联邦理工学院、德累斯顿工业大学、南非夸祖鲁-纳塔尔大学、加拿大谢布鲁克大学等高校的博士生和硕士生,培养了大批专业人才。
Professor Konstantin Papailiou is an internationally recognized authority in the field of external insulation for power transmission and distribution. He has published over 100 papers and authored or edited several authoritative industry publications, including the monographs "Composite Insulators," "Handbook of Electric Power Systems," "High-Voltage Overhead Lines and Underground Cables," the Orange Book on "Wind-Induced Conductor Galloping," the first CIGRE Green Book on "Overhead Lines," and multiple CIGRE technical brochures, providing essential technical guidance for global engineering practices. With more than 40 years of continuous service at CIGRE, he advanced from a working group member to chair of a study committee and was elected the President of CIGRE in 2024. In 2014, he founded the CIGRE Journal of Science and Engineering and served as its editor-in-chief until 2020. He has long taught courses on high-voltage overhead lines at the University of Stuttgart and Technische Universität Dresden, and has supervised doctoral and master's students at institutions including ETH Zurich, EPFL Lausanne, TU Dresden, University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and Université de Sherbrooke in Canada, training numerous professionals in the field.

As the whole world steps up to meet emission reduction targets, demand for clean resources is rising rapidly, particularly clean electricity. With that electricity demand comes the need for more transmission. “There is no transition without transmission.” To build the transmission needed to realize a clean energy future, world needs an effective, centralized process for transmission planning, which it currently lacks.
随着全球各国纷纷努力实现减排目标,对清洁资源的需求正在迅速增长,其中对清洁电力的需求最为突出。随着电力需求的增加,对输电工程的需求也随之增大。“没有输电工程,就没有能源转型。”为了建设实现清洁能源未来所需的输电工程,全世界需要一个有效的、集中的输电工程规划方案,而目前尚无先例可循。
