1998年清华大学电机系本科毕业;2008年清华大学电机系博士毕业后留校任教至今,2011年任副教授。目前主要研究方向为超特高压交直流输变电技术、新型电介质及储能材料、微型传感及能量采集器件、电力大数据挖掘。主持国家自然科学基金1项,作为研究骨干参与多项国家973、863、自然科学基金重点项目。与斯坦福大学等国际知名院校的科研团队建立了长期密切的合作关系。发表论文80余篇,其中SCI收录30余篇;获得省部级奖励5项。2012获清华大学优秀班主任;2014年参与指导的研究生获清华大学特等奖学金。
