Recently, the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) announced the recipients of the 2025 CSEE Science and Technology Awards, including the Youth Science and Technology Award. Lin Jin, a faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Secretary of the CPC General Branch and Deputy Dean of Weiyang College, was among the recipients, recognized for his outstanding achievements in hydrogen energy and power systems.

In accordance with the CSEE Science and Technology Awards Regulations, the CSEE Review Committee selected a total of 170 award-winning projects for the 2025 CSEE Science and Technology Awards, including 36 First Prizes, 54 Second Prizes, and 80 Third Prizes, as well as 20 recipients of the Youth Science and Technology Award.

Lin Jin

Lin Jin has long been engaged in research on hydrogen energy and power systems and has led the development of multiple national-level science and technology projects. He has been selected for national-level young talent programs and recognized as a Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star. He serves as Secretary-General of the Hydrogen Energy Systems Committee of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, Secretary-General of the CSEE Committee on Renewable Energy Hydrogen Production, Secretary-General of the Smart Hydrogen Energy Committee of the National Energy Internet Alliance, and Deputy Secretary-General of the IEEE China Hydrogen Energy Committee, among other positions. He has received the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, and the First Prize of the Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Award. He has also received the First Prize of the Beijing Municipal Teaching Achievement Award, the Special Prize of the Tsinghua University Teaching Achievement Award, and the Tsinghua University Outstanding Young Faculty Teaching Award.
