Good News!

On June 18, Clarivate released the 2024 Journal Citation Report (JCR2024). iEnergy (Journal of Electrical Energy, English) has achieved its first Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 5.1. It is ranked in the Q1 zone under the ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC subject category and in the Q2 zone under the ENERGY & FUELS category.

Journal Overview:

iEnergy (Journal of Electrical Energy) is an open-access English international academic journal hosted by Tsinghua University, published by Tsinghua University Press, with IEEE handling its overseas distribution. It receives academic support from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) at Tsinghua University, with Professor He Jinliang serving as the editor-in-chief.

The journal was first published in March 2022 and is a quarterly publication. It has released 4 volumes and 13 issues, with a total of 138 articles. The published papers have been cited by journals from 45 countries and 179 journals. Cited journals include top journals in the field such as Nature Energy, Joule, Energy Environmental Science, Angewandte Chemie, and Advanced Materials.

Currently, the journal is indexed in well-known international databases, including ESCI, Ei Compendex, Scopus, DOAJ, CAS, and Inspec. The first CiteScore of 7.4 (released by Scopus) in 2024 ranks it in the Q1 zone. It has been selected for the second phase of the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan (New Journal Sub-Project).
