On the morning of April 25, a delegation of seven from Guizhou Power Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guizhou Power Grid"), including Chairman and Party Secretary Wu Guopei, Director of the Human Resources Department Liao Yong, General Manager of the Innovation and Architecture Department Wang Rui, and General Manager of the Marketing Department Xie Bing, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) for in-depth discussions on topics such as scientific research cooperation, Party-building collaboration, and training partnerships. The visiting delegation was received by Kang Chongqing, Dean of EEA; Sun Kai, Deputy Dean; Hu Wei, Assistant Dean and Office Director; Li Shisong, Assistant Dean; and Wang Xiaoxiao, Dean of the School of Continuing Education.

Wang Rui, General Manager of the Innovation and Architecture Department of Guizhou Power Grid, introduced the key directions of technological innovation and some major project plans. Tan Zhukui, Strategic Senior Technical Expert and Deputy General Manager of the Electric Power Research Institute, presented specific research projects. Liao Yong, Director of the Human Resources Department, shared information about the integration of industry and education. Li Shisong, Assistant Dean of EEA, gave an overview of the department, and Wang Xiaoxiao, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, introduced topics related to continuing education and rural revitalization.
Kang Chongqing warmly welcomed the visit of Guizhou Power Grid and expressed appreciation for its support and concern for EEA. He noted that the current key R&D efforts of Guizhou Power Grid align closely with the research directions of EEA, and expressed the hope for deepened scientific research collaboration, as well as enhanced cooperation in student internships and talent cultivation.
Wu Guopei listened to the reports and held in-depth discussions on related topics. He stated that there is great potential for collaboration between Guizhou Power Grid and EEA, and expressed hope that both sides will jointly explore issues of mutual concern in scientific research and talent development, contributing to the construction of a new type of power system through university-enterprise cooperation.
After the meeting, Wu Guopei and the delegation visited the department’s history gallery, where Sun Kai gave an introduction to the historical evolution of EEA.
