On the morning of April 10, a delegation from the Wuhan People’s Government, led by Vice Mayor Meng Hui and Jiang Tiebin, Deputy Director of the Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and Director of the Wuhan Municipal Talent Bureau, visited Tsinghua University. The visit aimed to strengthen talent development, university-local cooperation, and exchanges, as well as to connect with Tsinghua faculty members from Wuhan.

At the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA), the delegation toured the Department History Museum and the State Key Laboratory for Operation and Control of New-Type Power Systems. They also held warm and friendly conversations with faculty members from Wuhan. The delegation was received by Zheng Zedong, Party Secretary of the department; Yu Zhanqing, Deputy Party Secretary; and Li Qi, Director of the Party Office, among others. Yu Zhanqing gave an overview of the department’s historical evolution and its recent achievements in Party building, scientific research, education, and platform development. Ma Ningning from the Experimental Teaching Center introduced the founding and development of the national key laboratory. During the visit, both sides engaged in enthusiastic discussions on potential collaboration in talent cultivation and technological innovation.
