On the morning of July 26, a 17-member delegation led by Yang Qingxin, chairman of the Chinese Electrotechnical Society and president of Tianjin University of Technology visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics and the State Key Laboratory of Power Systems of Tsinghua University. Yu Xinjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of EEA and Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory, Wu Wenchuan, Deputy Secretary of EEA and Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory, Yu Zhanqing, Deputy Dean of EEA, Wang Shanming, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory, and some other teachers participated in the reception and discussion.

In the meeting room 102, Zone 3, West Main Building, Yu Xinjie, on behalf of EEA and the State Key Laboratory of Power Systems, extended a warm welcome to the visitors. Wu Wenchuan introduced the reorganization principles and progress of the State Key Laboratory, EEA teachers including Zhang Ning, Xu Fei and Zou Jun, et al made related introduction.

Yang Qingxin and his entourage also visited the power system dynamic simulation laboratory, power electronics and power transmission laboratory, high voltage laboratory and other laboratories accompanied by teachers including Zhao Zhengming, Huang Songling, Xie Xiaorong and Yu Zhanqing.
