Biography

I am an associate professor in the group of power electronics and motor control (PEMC), a part of the institute of power electronics and machine systems in department of electrical engineering, Tsinghua University, China. From 1999 to 2003 I was an undergraduate student in dept. electrical engineering at Tsinghua University. From 2003 to 2008 I was a master and Ph.D student in dept. electrical engineering at Tsinghua University. I was supported by a joint program between ENSEEIHT-INP Toulouse of France and Tsinghua University and worked in lab. LAPLACE-CNRS of France for about 20 months. From 2008-2010 I was a postdoc at Tsinghua University and then became a faculty from 2010. My research interest includes the high performance control of AC motors, such as induction motors and PMSMs, the power electronics transformer (PET), multi-level converters, electric traction and propulsion system, and converters for the control of power storage systems. I have more than eighty research papers peer-reviewed top ranked journals and top class international conference.
