Personal Introduction
Currently a Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program Key Special Project and the National Major Science and Technology Project on Smart Grid, Humboldt Fellow, IET Fellow, and Fellow of the Chinese Electrotechnical Society. Graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2001 with a Doctor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. After completing postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2003, he was directly appointed as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Currently responsible for building the "Advanced Energy Electrical Materials and Devices" innovation team in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University. Main research areas are advanced energy electrical materials and devices, focusing on applied fundamental research on the structure and properties of dielectric polymer materials. He is a key leading figure in the field of dielectric polymer materials and high-energy-storage film capacitors in China.
Authored/co-authored 10 monographs, published over 460 journal papers, including more than 350 SCI-indexed papers. Cited over 23,000 times in SCI databases, with an H-index of 81. Granted 30 patents. Continuously selected for the Elsevier "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list for 12 years and the Global Top 100,000 Scientists list for 4 consecutive years. Completed and undertaken over 60 vertical/horizontal projects including the Ministry of Science and Technology's National Key R&D Program, National Major Science and Technology Projects, Ministry of Science and Technology 863 Program, and International Cooperation projects, as well as NSFC Distinguished Young Scholar, Key Projects (2), Innovation Group, etc. Serves as the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the international journal IET Nanodielectrics and editorial board member of several domestic and international journals. Supervised over 30 doctoral graduates and over 60 master's graduates. Currently supervising 9 doctoral students and 4 postdoctoral researchers.
