He is currently an associate professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University.

He received his bachelor 's degree from Dalian University of Technology in 2009 and his doctor's degree from Tsinghua University in 2014. He did postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University and Virginia Tech CPES,respectively,during 2014 to 2017.Then,he came back to Tsinghua University and worked as an assistant professor.In 2018,he became an associate professor, and in 2023 a long-term associate professor.

He was engaged in the teaching and research of DC power systems and power electronics. In the past five years, he has undertaken more than 20 projects, such as the National Key R & D Program for Young Scientists, the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 100 SCI / EI papers, authorized more than 50 invention patents.He was awarded " China 's electric power outstanding young scientific and technological talents " in 2021, and won the first prize of technical invention of the Chinese Electrical Technology Society in 2022. He has been selected as " China 's highly cited scholars " by Elsevier,from 2019 to 2023.
