Biography

Zhichang Yuan has been appointed Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University since 2013. He holds Bachelor’s Degree of Electrical Power Engineering in 2001, and a Ph.D in Electrical Power Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2006. His research interests include Flexible AC Transmission System, VSC-HVDC, Power System Stability Analysis, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronic Converter, Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM).
