Xudong Sun has been appointed Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University since 1998. He holds Bachelor's degrees of Electrical Engineering in 1986, and a Master and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1989 and 1992, respectively. His research interests include power electronic and electric machine system, renewable power generating system and electric power storage system. He is the author of 3 books on electric machinery and more than 50 papers.
