Shen Chen, Professor of Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, is engaged in the National 863 Program and the Southern China Power Grid Company’s key project "Key Technologies and Demonstration of Efficient and Reliable Operation of Microgrid Cluster". Now he is recruiting 1-2 postdoctorals to carry out the researches in micro-grid planning, operation and simulation calculation.

Requirements:

1. Have obtained a doctorate degree in power system and its automation; those who have relevant research experience are preferred;

2. Have strong independent scientific research ability, enterprising spirit and good team work spirit.

4.Recruitment of postdoctorals and research personnel by Institute of New Electrical Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering

In order to meet the research needs, it is proposed to recruit 2—3 postdoctoral researchers and 2—3 R&D personnel.

Co-tutor: Prof. Guo Jingbo.

Research directions: detection and sensing, instruments & meters, signal processing; electromagnetic engineering, electronic technology, and database.

Research contents: System design, theoretical research, experimental research and data analysis related to the above research directions.

Conditions for post-doctoral candidates:

6.Recruitment of postdoctorals by He Jinliang, Professor of Institute of High Voltage and Insulation Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University

He Jinliang, Professor of Institute of High Voltage and Insulation Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, undertakes the project "Key Basic Research on Large Capacity DC Transmission Cables and DC Transmission Pipelines" in the National 973 Program. He conducts researches on the nano-particle modified polyolefin insulating materials for DC cables and the epoxy support insulators for DC transmission pipelines.

It is proposed to recruit 3 to 5 postdoctorals in polymer and material orientation, giving priority to those who have studied polypropylene, polyethylene, epoxy, nano-modification, etc.

7.Recruitment of 2-3 postdoctoral candidates by the DC Power Grid Research Group of Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University

7.1 Research directions

(1) Research on medium and high voltage DC-DC power conversion technology;

(2) Research on HVDC voltage source converter technology;

(3) Operation analysis and simulation calculation of flexible DC power grid

8.Recruitment of postdoctorals by Prof. Guo Jingbo

Research areas to be pursued: Detection theory and testing equipment, compensation and detection methods for advanced magnetic sensors, and compressed sensing theory

Proposed research contents or plans:

National projects (one of six choices):

(1) Research and development of electromagnetic array detection technology and equipment for metal Loss in oil and gas pipeline; (2) Development and application of high speed and high definition 3-D magnetic leakage detection equipment for oil and gas pipeline; (3) Research on oil tank defect detection technology based on saturated sweep eddy current; (4) Development of fault detection and accurate location system for inspection process inside and outside the sea pipe; (5) Research on real-time signal detection and hidden variable parameter estimation for airborne magnetometer target detection; (6) Research on the theory of measurement of dynamic compression based on metric learning and chaos.

Requirements for admission

1. Obtain doctoral degrees in electrical engineering (electrical engineering/electronic information/electronic technology/instrumental science/control theory/pattern recognition/computer science and technology) or energy (petroleum/nuclear energy) or machinery (mechanical design/precision machinery/fluid machinery), and meet the requirements of the national post-doctoral admission;

2. Be interested in scientific research and the R&D of frontier technology;

3. Have strong independent research ability and team work spirit.
