Prof. Jun Zou was born in Wuhan city, Hubei province, China in January 1971. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2001, all in electrical engineering. In 2001, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University as an Assistant Researcher. In 2011, he was promoted to be a Full Professor. He has been involving in the research on electromagnetic compatibility in power systems, transient analysis of electromagnetic pulse, and computational electromagnetics.
