Shanming Wang received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Nanchang University, Nanchang, in 1993 and 1996, respectively. In 2001 he got the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. After that he became a teacher in Tsinghua University. His research interests include vibration and its control of electric machines, analysis and control of electric machines, hybrid excitation PM synchronous machines, the simulation of electric machines and systems, and fault analysis for electric machines and its protection.
