Wensheng Gao has been appointed Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University since 2002. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Dalian University of technology in 1995, and a Ph.D in Electrical Power Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1997. His research interests include high voltage insulation diagnosis technology, reliability analysis of electrical equipment, and intelligent technology of electric power equipment. He has been the PI of more than 38 academic and industrial projects,including one “863” sub-project, one sub-project in Science and Technology Support program, two national Natural Science Foundation projects, seven international collaborative projects, and nine significant transverse projects. He was awarded eighty most influential papers.
