Biography
I am a member of Flexible Transmission & Distribution Systems Research Group., and have accomplished a series of nationally funded projects. In 1997 and 2000, I received Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Shandong University of Technology. Then I got Ph.D. in Tsinghua University in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, I worked for Beijing SF-Power Electric Technology Ltd., where I took charge of R&D and developed the first high-voltage high-power D-STATCOMs in China. I entered the postdoctoral workstation of Tsinghua University in 2007, and continued my research on H-cascaded STATCOM and series connection of IGBTs. In 2008, I visited Cambridge University for a short period. Finishing the postdoc in 2009, I became a faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering.
