On April 15, a delegation from the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering of Qinghai University, including Party Secretary Yang Xincun, Executive Vice Dean and Deputy Party Secretary Si Yang, Party Committee Member and Vice Dean Jin Fubao, and Party Committee Member and Dean of the New Energy Department Gao Mengyu, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University. They were received by Party Secretary Zheng Zehong, Deputy Party Secretary Yu Zhuqing, Vice Directors Sun Kai and Chen Laijun, and Professor Mei Shengwei, among others. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Zehong.

Yang Xincun expressed gratitude for the long-term support and assistance provided by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, and introduced the achievements of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering in discipline development, talent cultivation, and scientific research. Si Yang focused on introducing the overall planning of the “15th Five-Year Plan” of the school. Jin Fubao introduced plans and ideas for AI-enabled education reform. Gao Mengyu introduced the overall situation of the “double-belted leader” Party branch secretary training program.

Zheng Zehong introduced the overall development of the department and the work related to paired assistance, while Chen Laijun provided a detailed overview of the department’s “One Department, Two Institutes, One Lab, One Alliance” collaborative development strategy and recent progress in talent training, research innovation, platform construction, and academic exchange.

During the discussion session, both sides conducted in-depth and pragmatic exchanges on the 15th Five-Year Plan coordination, major project applications, academic resource sharing, joint talent cultivation, and faculty exchange programs, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in paired support.
