On April 8, the Faculty Union of the Department of Electrical Engineering organized a friendly basketball match between the staff teams of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer Science and Technology. The match also served as an important warm-up game for this year’s university staff basketball tournament, attracting many faculty members and students to watch and participate.
At the beginning of the game, both teams quickly entered competitive form, with the score alternating frequently and the match remaining highly intense. The Electrical Engineering staff team demonstrated strong coordination, while the Computer Science team repeatedly scored through fast ball movement. By the end of the first half, the Electrical Engineering team was temporarily behind and under some pressure.



In the second half, the team adjusted its tactics and strengthened defensive pressure. In the final stages of the match, the Electrical Engineering team launched a series of successful defensive rebounds and fast breaks, quickly narrowing the gap and eventually taking the lead. Players on the court competed fiercely with great determination, while applause and cheers from the sidelines rose continuously, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere. In the end, the Electrical Engineering team secured a comeback victory through strong resilience and teamwork, gaining valuable experience for the upcoming staff basketball tournament.



The Faculty Union of the Department of Electrical Engineering has always been committed to providing a wide range of cultural and sports activities for all staff members. Currently, basketball activities are organized every Wednesday evening at the North Gymnasium, and all interested faculty members are warmly welcome to participate. In the future, the Faculty Union will continue to organize diverse cultural and sports activities, fostering a healthy, positive, and vibrant campus culture, and further enhancing staff well-being and cohesion.
