On the morning of March 22, Xiao Xianyong, Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering, Wang Ying, Director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Power Quality and Electromagnetic Environment, He Chuan, Assistant to President, and Wang Yang, Deputy Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering of Sichuan University, visited the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA), Tsinghua University, and shared their views on construction of electrical disciplines, growth of young teachers, scientific research work, recruitment and cultivation of doctoral and master students, and management of colleges (departments).

Hu Wei, Assistant to the Dean of EEA, Bi Daqiang and Ma Ningning, teachers of EEA, accompanied the visit to the State Key Laboratory of New Power System Operation and Control, the Experimental Teaching Center of Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics, and introduced the history of the laboratory, the ongoing scientific research work and experimental equipment of the teaching experiment center, and watched the promotional video of the state key laboratory with the guests together.

At the following symposium, Kang Chongqing, Dean of EEA, welcomed the visit of the College of Electrical Engineering of Sichuan University, saying that there is a profound friendship and good cooperation between the two units, as Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University is located in Chengdu, he hoped that the two sides will strengthen communication and exchanges, deepen mutual learning, and realize complementary advantages and coordinated development.

Lu Chao, Deputy Dean of EEA, introduced the overall scientific research of EEA and the State Key Laboratory of New Power Systems; Zhu Guiping, Deputy Dean of EEA, introduced the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching work of EEA, as well as the recruitment of doctoral and postgraduate students; Zhang Pinjia, Assistant Dean of EEA, introduced the special celebration activities for the anniversary of EEA.
