How to apply for the Innovative Leading D. Eng. Project, Southwest China, Tsinghua University  (hereinafter referred to as the Southwest China Project )? What are the criteria  of qualification ? What’ s the requirement  in  training? On October 23, the Introduction and Q&A Meeting (Chengdu Station) for Recruitment of Innovative Leading D. Eng. Project, Southwest China, Tsinghua University in 2023 w as h eld   online and offline   simultaneously , and t he offline venue was at Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute. Teachers from the School of National Outstanding Engineers, Tsinghua University, the Southwest China  Project and related training departments introduced the admissions plan, training mechanism and other matters in the Q&A meeting. A total of nearly 800 online and offline potential applicants attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Gao Wensheng, a professor in charge of the Southwest China Project.

Eng. Project of Tsinghua University. Professor Zhu Guiping, Deputy Dean of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) of Tsinghua University, introduced the outline, project positioning, features and provisions of the Southwest China Project.

In this meeting, Xiao Bingfeng, a student admitted in 2021, and Zhou Lu, a student admitted in 2022 of the Southwest China Project, were specially invited as student representatives to share their experience in applying and preparing for the exam.

In the final free Q&A session, potential applicants actively asked questions on hot issues such as qualification definition, qualification review, research proposal writing and training base, and the relevant teachers gave detailed and comprehensive answers.
