On January 24, 2022, the China Electrotechnical Society announced the evaluation results of the 2021 “CESScience and Technology Award” to 48 items, including 12 first prizes,24 second prizes, and 12thirdprizes for scientific and technological achievement.3 projects in which professors of the Department of Electrical Engineering participated as the first completer won the first prizeforscientific and technological achievement, and1 won the second prize.

Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award:

“Technology and Application ofIntelligent Grid Source Coordination and Optimal ControlofPower Systems” completed byHu Wei and Lu Zong, et al.

The CESScience and Technology Award is the first batch of social sourceawards approved by the national science and technology award authority in 2001 to rewardorganizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological progress in the field of electrical engineering.
