On the morning of April 3, 2018, Kang Chongqing, director of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology (EEA), Tsinghua University (THU), led a team to Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, to visit Pinggao Group. More than 30 people, including the Group's main leaders such as Cheng Limin, director, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Li Juntao, member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Commission and chairman of the Trade Union, and Han Shumo, deputy general manager and member of the Party Committee, as well as the Group’s department leaders and technical backbone, attended the reception and talks.

First of all, Cheng Limin, director, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Pinggao Group, welcomed and thanked the EEA for the visit. He hoped Pinggao Group should strengthen cooperation with Tsinghua University in traditional fields such as high-voltage equipment manufacturing, and emerging directions such as energy internet, and power Internet of Things.

Subsequently, Lu Zongxiang, deputy director of the EEA, THU, introduced the development of the EEA and the frontier technological achievements. Han Shumo, deputy general manager and member of the Party Committee of Pinggao Group, presented the research and development of Pinggao Group. Next, Han Guohui, deputy director of Pinggao Group Technology Center, introduced Pinggao's technical cooperation needs. The participating teachers of the EEA introduced relevant research results and research plans according to their research directions and Pinggao Group's needs. After that, Han Shumo and Kang Chongqing made concluding remarks, expecting the two sides should further strengthen in-depth cooperation in scientific and technological exchanges and personnel training.
