The project for State Key Laboratory of Control and Simulation of Power System and Generation Equipment, based on Tsinghua University, was approved to establish by the State Planning Commission, and was completed in October 17, 1995, which passed the state-level acceptance. It is one of the first batch of state key labs in the electrical engineering field of China.
