Course Description:

The course mainly introduces HVDC transmission system, including characteristic, system structure, equipments, steady-state performance, fault analysis, overvoltage, external insulation, electromagnetic environment and so on. Besides, combining with the 800kV extra-high voltage DC system under construction in China, the latest international DC transmission technology is introduced.
